What a Consultation Visit Is

A consultation visit is an on-site appointment where I come to your property, evaluate the space, listen to what you want to build (or fix), and help you map out the smartest way to do it.

Whether you are planning a koi pond, a pondless waterfall, a stream, a fountain, a formal feature, or you need help diagnosing an existing water feature that is not working correctly, this visit is where we get clarity.

Cost

Consultation Visit: $150

If you hire Nooga Waterscapes for the project, the $150 consultation fee is credited toward your final invoice.

What We Do During the Visit

During the consultation, we typically:

• Walk the property with you and discuss your goals and priorities.
• Evaluate slope, drainage, and runoff so the feature is designed correctly from day one.
• Discuss the best placement for views, sound, access, and long-term maintenance.
• Review design style options (natural, formal, modern, koi-focused, low-maintenance, etc.).
• Identify potential challenges (utilities, access constraints, root systems, erosion risks, and water management).
• Talk through realistic budget ranges based on the type and scale of feature you want.
• Answer your questions and recommend the best next steps.

After the consultation, you will have:

• A clear plan for the next steps.
• A realistic budget range for the type of project you are considering.
• Recommendations on options that fit your goals and property, including what to avoid.
• A path to an official estimate if you decide to move forward.
